We are going to Disney (I know you are shocked) in January! So Mickey Mouse is on my mind.... so I thought I would share our TOP favorite rides that we try to never miss!! (And because I get countless messages about the ins and outs of doing Disney - which I love to help!)
#1 - Pirates of the Caribbean
Olivia's absolute favorite (& mine too!!)
The first time Olivia rode this she was 11 months old and she threw her hands up in the air and squealed! Needless to say, it's been a favorite ever since. We have been known to get off the ride and get back on.... multiple times in a row :) and for those of you with little ones and think you shouldn't ride it - RIDE IT!
#2 - Soarin'
I LOVE THIS RIDE!
The views, the scents, the sensations! Who doesn't love feeling like they are flying through the air?! Oh right... my husband ;) He won't ride it with me, but luckily Olivia is old enough now! Tip: Get there right when the park opens and either ride or get a fast pass - it's one of the most popular rides!
#3 - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Ok so maybe just Olivia likes this one. She is fearless - she rode it for the first time in October and talks about it quite a bit! Especially how you have to hold your head to the back of the seat at all times or it will hurt your neck! She says she can't wait to ride it again in January!
#4 - It's a Small World
We will call this Sadie's favorite because she was enthralled with it in October, but I love it too! and Ben secretly loves it - don't let him fool you.
I don't know how many times I've ridden this ride - maybe 2-3 times each trip for almost 15 trips and I STILL see something new that I haven't noticed before!!
#5 Test Track
Ben's favorite. Fast cars. Bumpy roads. Feels dangerous.
This is another one you want to get a fast pass for or ride first thing in the morning! The lines fill up quickly!

It's been awhile!
Ok so it's been a LONG while!
We've added a new family member! Sadie Caroline was born April 3, 2013
She is now much older than in this picture, but I love it!! :) My two sweet princesses - and Olivia is almost SEVEN. I can't believe it.
I hopefully will start blogging more! Ben has challenged me to do two a week - so that's my goal!

Old McDonald's Farm
Last Saturday we went to Old McDonald's Farm in Sale Creek. We had SO much fun!! We got to ride a hayride to the (real) pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. They also had slides from the hayloft down to the ground and a "ball-pit" type area full of corn. Olivia LOVED playing in the corn and going down the slide. The farm also had a petting zoo and tons of photo ops :) I highly recommend it to anyone!

We are still here!
and doing well :)
I've totally slacked on my blogging since last year because I was looking for a job and now have a job! I am working at Cigna. When I'm not working, I'm on Pinterest pretending to be creative or shopping at consignment sales to fill my princess' already too full closet & dresser.
Ben has just started a new job at WNA (American Plastics) as a Quality Assurance Engineer Technician. He is still in school for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control degree, but is pushing back classes a semester or so because he was dying to work! LOL He can't stand school. BUT I'm so proud of him for going back and sticking with it!
The Princess is well. She's ALMOST 5. Really? Where has time gone? Wasn't she a baby like 7.5 minutes ago?! She goes to pre-school at our church and LOVES it and LOVES her teachers :) I will be sad when she leaves them next year for the "real world". She is super into the Disney Princesses... I think it's a pre-requisite to be in our family tho so it's all good. O is just now getting into dress up again and loves to put all her princess dresses on. She is still fearless and strong-willed. and also allergic to pomegranate. Don't ask how we found out. She can recognize about half the letters in the alphabet and is starting to match up words with the letter they start with based on sounding them out. Such a smart cookie!
Our newest adventure is ballet with her bestie Mia. Olivia LOVES it! She stays focused and really likes to learn the new things :) ok ok and she likes to twirl.

How 'bout them Auburn Tigers?!?!
Alright so y'all know I'm a HUGE Auburn fan and y'all KNOW Auburn is heading to the National Championship! I'm SOOOOO PUMPED!! Excited doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!
It's been a great year of football and I'm so proud of the team how they have stuck together through the entire Cam ordeal and how he put on - in true leader form - a smile and a positive outlook for the team. So WAR EAGLE & Play on boys!! Good luck in Glendale!!!
Here's a picture of my little Auburn sweetie :) goofy smile, but she's always cute.
She says, "War Eagle!!" allllll the time. It's great.

Shutterfly
I have used Shutterfly so many times! I have ordered almost all my pictures from there since my daughter was born almost four years ago. The quality is unbeatable and our pictures ALWAYS turn out wonderful! I have also ordered all of our Christmas cards from Shutterfly and have loved every one of them. Shutterfly books are also great! I've ordered several as gifts and also to have as keepsakes with pictures from our vacations in them. My daughter loves to look through them and see all her family members!

Summer
Well I have not posted since May. HA :) It's been a busy summer. I am currently job hunting, which SUCKS!
We have done lots of playing this summer and while I have some other more specific posts to write, I thought I'd give you a glimpe of O and how much she's grown!! She looks so much older to me now than at the beginning of the summer! I think her hair is longer. Maybe that's why...
oh and the last picture.... she's about 13 there with that face!

Graduate!
As of yesterday afternoon, I am officially a college graduate!
I decided not to attend graduation for several reasons and went shopping instead for graduation gifts to myself (& from Ben) :) It was much more fun than sitting for several hours in a auditorium with hundreds of people I don't know.
To celebrate my graduation, we are headed to Disney World tomorrow for some fun with Mickey! See you when we get back!!
